I.         GENERAL TERMS

This Policy regarding the processing and protection of personal data (hereinafter referred to as the "Policy") is an official document of Russian Medical Journal LLC (hereinafter referred to as the "Company"), the website of which is located in information and telecommunication network Internet at: www.rmj.ru (hereinafter referred to as the "Website").

1. This Policy has been adopted by the personal data processing operator in order to comply with and enforce the laws of the Russian Federation, to ensure compliance with and protect the rights of persons whose personal data are processed by the Company (hereinafter referred to as the "Subjects"), to determine the procedure for processing and using personal data.
2. The Policy is an open and public document that defines the basis of the Company's activities in the processing and protection of personal data. The Policy is posted on the Site at the address in the information and telecommunication network Internet www.rmj.ru/about/en/policy-personal-data/. All changes to the Policy are posted at the specified address.
3. The Policy uses concepts, the interpretation of which corresponds to the definitions given in the Federal Law of July 27, 2006 No. 152-FZ “On Personal Data” (hereinafter referred to as the “Law”).

II.         PURPOSE OF PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA

1. The processing of personal data is limited to the achievement of specific goals listed in clause 5. Policy.
2. The purposes of processing personal data by the Company are:

- providing access to the personal section of the Site (personal account);

- informing the Subject about health news, planned events (seminars, symposiums, conferences);

- storage in the information systems of the Company of the data of the Subjects for record keeping and statistics;

- use of the data of the Subjects to enable quick search on the Site;

- publishing on the Site in the sections "Our Authors", "BC Bloggers" and "Catalog of Articles", as well as in printed versions of publications, the founder of which is the Society, the necessary information about the authors materials to bring to the attention of readers;

- other purposes expressly indicated by the Subject when providing personal data.

III.      LEGAL GROUNDS FOR PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA

1. The processing of personal data is carried out on the basis of and in compliance with the current legislation of the Russian Federation, including: 

1) Constitution of the Russian Federation;

2) Civil Code of the Russian Federation;

3) Federal Law "On Information, Information Technologies and Information Protection";

4) Federal Law "On Limited Liability Companies";

5) Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of March 06, 1997 No. 188 “On Approval List of Confidential Information”;

6) Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of September 15, 2008 No. 687 “On approval of the Regulations on the specifics of the processing of personal data carried out without the use of automation tools”;

7) Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of November 1, 2012 No. 1119 “On approval of requirements for the protection of personal data during their processing in personal data information systems”.

IV.       SCOPE AND CATEGORIES OF PERSONAL DATA

1. The Company processes personal data of the following categories of Subjects:

- individuals who have passed the registration procedure on the Site;

- individuals - authors who sent materials for placement on the Site or in publications founded by the Company, in accordance with the terms   of the publication of materials posted on the Site at www.rmj.ru/about/en/terms_of_publication/.

- other persons who applied using the feedback forms (postal address, email address and phone number) posted on the Site.

2. The Company processes personal data in the following scope:

- information about the medical specialization, last name, first name and patronymic, email address, city of residence;

- surnames, first names and patronymics of the authors, their academic degree, title and main position;

- name of the institution and department (department, laboratory) in which the work was performed, as well as the postal address of the institution; information on sources of funding for the preparation of materials; information about a possible conflict of interest that may arise in connection with the placement of the material;

- other data provided by Subject.

V.       TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA

1. The Company collects, systematizes, accumulates, stores, clarifies (updates, changes), uses, transfers, blocks, depersonalizes, destroys the personal data of the Subjects.
2. The Company has the right to transfer the personal data of the Subjects to organizations that produce and publish publications, the founder of which is the Company, including Meditsina-inform LLC, MediaPro LLC, for use in order to place the Subjects' materials in these publications.
3. The subject of personal data confirms his consent to the processing to the extent and in the ways specified in the Policy by:

- filling out the registration form on the Site;

- sending via electronic communication channels to the address article@doctormedia.ru author's material (scientific article, review, post to be placed in the section "Breast cancer bloggers", etc.) that meets the requirements posted in section "Terms of Publication" at: www.rmj.ru/about/en/terms_of_publication/.

- sending personal data through official channels of postal or electronic communication, communication of personal data by phone. 

1. The Subject's consent to processing is valid indefinitely. 
2. The Company has the right to entrust the processing of personal data to a third party with the consent of the Subject. The person carrying out the processing of personal data is obliged to comply with the principles and rules for the processing of personal data provided for by the Law and this Policy. An order to a third party defines a list of actions with personal data that will be performed by a person, the purposes of processing, establishes the obligation of such a person to ensure the security of personal data during their processing, and also specifies the requirements for the protection of personal data.
3. The Company guarantees the confidentiality of the obtained personal data of the Subjects.
4. The Company does not transfer personal data to third parties, except as specified in the Policy.
5. The Company ensures the processing of personal data using databases located only on the territory of the Russian Federation.

VI.       TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF STORAGE OF PERSONAL DATA

1.  When processing personal data, the accuracy of personal data, their sufficiency, and relevance in relation to the stated purposes of processing personal data are ensured.
2. The subject has the right to demand from the Company to obtain a list of processed personal data, to clarify, update, block or destroy them if the personal data is incomplete, outdated, inaccurate, illegally obtained, and also to take legal measures to protect their rights.< /li>
3. The subject has the right to withdraw consent to the processing of personal data.
4. Withdrawal of consent to the processing of personal data entails deletion account record from the Website, as well as the destruction of records containing the personal data of the Subject in the personal data processing systems of the Company, which may make it impossible to use the Site.< /li>
5. The subject has the right to carry out all the actions listed in paragraph 18, paragraph 19 by sending a written notice to the address: 105064, Moscow, PO Box 399 with a corresponding note.
6. The term for processing and storing personal data is determined by the purposes of processing specified in this Policy. 
7. The processing of personal data stops with the termination of the Company's activities.

VII.      KEEPING YOUR PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION AND SECURITY

1. When processing personal data, the Company takes organizational and technical measures to protect personal data from unauthorized or accidental access to them, destruction, modification, blocking, copying, provision, distribution of personal data, as well as from other illegal actions in relation to personal data.

VIII.     FINAL PROVISIONS

1. This Policy is subject to change or addition in cases of making appropriate changes or additions to the current legislation of the Russian Federation on personal data.
2. All relations with the participation of the Company relating to the processing and protection of personal data and not directly reflected in this Policy are governed by the provisions of the current legislation of the Russian Federation on personal data.
